This is about Transformation instead of  Therapy

One thing you should know about me right up front is that I am NOT a mental health therapist.

The kind of counseling that I do is something different and unique. Let me tell you my story…

Many years ago, I worked in the mental health field. I worked in several different settings, including drug and alcohol treatment centers, psychiatric units and groups homes. I worked with adults, adolescents and children. Over and over again, in each setting, it didn't take long to see that most of our clients were not getting better. In fact, many were getting worse. As it turned out, most of what we were doing to help wasn't actually effective at helping people.

I realized that only two things really have the power to change someone's life: love and God. Time and time again, I have seen the power of love and the power of God transform lives. I know it to be true personally, and I know it professionally. But, unfortunately, in most therapeutic models, there is not much room for either one.

So, I set out to find a new path. Instead of pursuing a degree as a licensed counselor, I pursued a deeper understanding of God. In seminary, I studied Spiritual Direction (the art of guiding someone on their spiritual journey) and Inner Healing Counseling (a way to experience God's healing for the deep parts of our hearts). I also pursued training as a Chaplain (to provide pastoral counseling to people in challenging life situations) and as a Christian Life Coach (to help people grow and achieve their goals). All in all, I am very happy with the route I took. It made it possible to start something new.

Today, I consider myself more of a Spiritual Guide than anything else. Here in Colorado we have guides for all sorts of outdoor activities. The counseling that I provide is like a guided journey into the inner world; the land of the heart and soul. I journey alongside people and help them navigate the terrain within.

My approach integrates Inner Healing, Spiritual Direction and Kingdom Life Coaching. It allows us to have real conversations about the things that matter most.

My aim is to help the people of God live the life that that God dreams for them.

I would like to help you find the life you were created for. Let's take the journey to discover the life that God dreams for you!

& Spiritual Director

Vector Ministries grew out of my desire to help the people of God live better lives.

I have a passion to see people overcome the struggles they face, to find real freedom from the past and to move forward into a life of meaning and purpose.

I know firsthand what it is like to battle with depression, heartache and loss. I know what it is like to struggle through life. Yet, I have also experienced the power of God to transform a life. I know that He can do the impossible. I want to see the people of God experience that same power.

I want to see real transformation happen for you, too. I want to see you come more alive and live an amazing life of freedom, joy, purpose and peace!

about Vector

A vector is a symbol, like an arrow, that shows the direction something is moving as well as the magnitude of its movement. It is a symbol that reveals the path something is traveling as well as the significance of its journey.

This symbol represents my heart to help you move forward in the direction that God is leading you and to live a life of deep significance.
